First published in 2021 by UC Irvine Professors Jack Lerner and Charis Kubrin, Rap on Trial: A Legal Guide provides defense attorneys with legal and practical strategies for fighting against the use of rap expression in criminal cases, as well as access to a brief bank of motions/briefs that successfully blocked the evidentiary use of rap expression, and a compendium of rap on trial cases.
